You really do fear the killfile, don't you. It means that people won't

Say again? "You aren't interested in posting Thai related discussion
here by your own admission!"

Care to qualify that statement as I really don't remember ever saying
that.

You know? I am beginning to believe that you are either senile or an
awful liar.

The "awful liar" is you and you alone! About that memory of yours!
Here is the post in its entirety including date, time etc. The crucial
words are in the last paragraph. Actually, it looks quite a lot like you
have no respect for Thais or Thai culture as you seem rather dismissive
of Thais in general.

For that matter, why don't you INITIATE discussion in this forum? You
profess to live in Thailand and married to a Thai so you should be able
to provide plenty of source material for lively debate. But no, that's
not your style, is it?

Why should I initiate a discussion? What is to discuss? Thais have
brown eyes and black hair? Or the classic "Ooooh, I just LOVE
Thailand"?

Are you insane? Or so simple minded that you somehow feel that
describing a Thai as "brown eyes and black hair" is derogatory? When
they describe themselves exactly that way.

In fact what brought it to mind was a Vietnamese girl that we met a
few days ago. My wife spoke to her in Thai and the girl, acting a bit
embarrassed, said, "I'm not Thai". My wife said, "Oh, but you
look...."

Since a Vietnamese looks very little like a Thai, other then the brown
eyes and black hair, it is obvious exactly what my wife was talking
about.

As for the "Oooo" how can that be taken as anything except ridicule
for the average foreigner and his platitudes?

You seem to have overreached yourself. I'm the one who is reproaching
Mort for his snide comments about things Thai, not you. Strange that
you should reproach me for something so wrong.
