That's good. Different time. Different factors. And even today, two people
in Thailand can see two different events according to each belief, ideology,
etc. Let's focus on NOW.

I had assumed that you knew something about the political situation in
Thailand but apparently you haven't followed it closely.

It is *you* (and Maxwell) who display an appalling lack of knowledge
of the political situation in Thailand.

The Taksin government was probably the most corrupt government that
Thailand has ever had.

If you don't consider virtually every other government that Thailand
has had recently.....

And if you don't consider that the motive for removing Thaksin was
because Sondhi wanted to loot the public treasury for millions of
dollars and Thaksin wouldn't let him........

If you want specifics you can google for them
but sufficient to say that so far the courts have convicted Taksin's
wife, fined at least one of his kids and have four criminal cases
against Taksin himself pending.

For tax evasion, not for government corruption. At least try to be
honest.

The PAD is attempting to dislodge these people. No one else is. Not
the people in the countryside, just some people in Bangkok.

Try telling him *WHY* PAD wants them out. It has nothing to do with
PPP corruption.

Now, if you object to this I wonder what you what you do support? The
return of Taksin and the most corrupt government ever seen in
Thailand? Or just a continuation of a government that is following,
faithfully, in Taksin's footsteps?

How about supporting the right of the people of Thailand to choose
their own government via an election?

You and Maxwell keep stepping into the same trap.
