Hi -
Where in Bangkok would be a good place to shop for home security
systems? Are systems available that you could install yourself, if you
are reasonably handy? How about wireless systems?
Is Pantip worthwhile for this, or is there anywhere else that would be good?
Thanks for any info at all,
Ian
Say Hey:
Topgear is okay and some other outfit like fujibiz. Most of the
security equipment comes in from Taiwan or mainland China these days.
Your wireless systems work on 1.2 or 2.4 gHz but better picture with
hard wired systems. Also systems with zoom cameras, 4 ch dvr that
record 24/7 with a seven day back up on 4 ch dvr systems with a 320
Maxtor hdd. Look at different systems. I was no pleased with the dome
cameras and went back to cameras in weather proofed boxes.
