I posted this article from the BKK Post because it's written by a Thai
and it mirrors my opinion about the situation one year after the coup,
not the illusion and misconception of some Farang A*s. This said, I
disagree on some points, like the journalistic term 'insurgents' to
call the criminals, for the author certainly does not know the
identity or motivation of each murderer.

Now they are so indiscriminate even their Islamic brothers are not spared.
While the unrest was not caused by this government, after one year in
office, shouldn't it be able to do something to improve the situation?

Thaksin had how many years to improve the situation?
(anyhow, a resurgence that arose during Thaksin's early years only worsened
under his regime)

Yeap... but IMO the author implies that:
- the terrorism of the Thaksin's years worsened *after* the coup
- the evaluation of the first year of junta's rule is so disastrous in
several fields that few Thais want to experience more martial stuff.

(Note for the vociferous fanatic: this is an OPINION, not a FACT)
