For Tchiowa:

A New York Times editorial summarized obvious problems in the USA
(2007). Here is an abbreviated version of their summary:

Ooops. Did you read what you posted? "EDITORIAL". Do you know what
that means? It means it's someone's *OPINION*. Unfortunately for you I
posted facts and statistics on GDP.

Further, this discussion has nothing to do with Health Care. Are you
really this dumb?

"Many Americans suffer the delusion that we have "the best health care
system in the world," as President Bush sees it, or provide the "best
medical care in the world," as Rudolph Giuliani declared last week.
That may be true at many top medical centers. But the disturbing truth
is that this country lags well behind other advanced nations in
delivering timely and effective care.

And the opinion is wrong. In Canada roughly 90% of the people living
within 100 miles of the US border go to the US for at least part of
their medical care. Why? Because of long delays in Canada. Does that
sound "timely"?

In the UK they have the same problem. UK courts have ordered the
National health system to pay for people to go abroad for medical care
because it's not available in a "timely" fashion.

Further, in the UK if you're over 55 and have kidney problem, you
cannot get dialysis. They have to ration health care.

Sound "effective" to you?

You're completely clueless.

Are you suffering the same delusion, or are you simply a sick prick?
