Right click works but nothing can be done - delete etc... property works but
the change are not accepted. (read only).
Booting in the safe mode F5 gave the same result.
I am afraid I will have to format my HD ...

'Properties'Sorry perhaps I wasn't clear ... I know how to unhidde folder but when I
click on it (once "unhidded") it gave me the following message :
C:\System Volume Information is not accessible,
Access is denied.
I need to access it as I think I get a Virus (AVG detected it but cannot
cure it - It doesn't give any name for that virus -)
Is it possible that the virus refuse the access to that folder ???
What happens if you right-click on the visible folder : do you get a
standard Windows alternate-click popup menu and can you select
: if so, what do you see under Attributes when the General tab onProperties
window is selected ?
Another idea : boot in "Safe" mode and see if you can delete the folder in
that mode, then re-boot in regular mode.
