Hi Clay,
Interesting on the "ka"... my investigations online led me to
understand that "ka" is the female form of the greeting. However, my
Muay Thai teacher (Matee Jedeepitak) and all the Thai's that I have met
in my travels with him have used the form "sawadee ka" in greeting me
and each other. Interesting?
Thanks for the tip on the map. I was hoping for a "flat" map that
wasn't folded up. I suppose I could flatten down a folded up one with
some books and a few days worth of pressure, but I'd rather have one
that comes rolled in a tube or laminated or some such thing. Ever see
such a beast?
Matt

Greetings (Sawadee ka),
Ka? Isn't "Matt" a guy's name?
I am interested in obtaining a flat map of Thailand. I would like
something relatively large , maybe 3 ft X 4 ft or so ( 1 m x 1.3 m ?)
suitable for pinning up on my wall.
Thus far my searches online have proved fruitless. I found a map of
"Southeastern Asia" from American Map Company that was pretty lame it
painted all of Thailand in one color without any real detail.
If anyone has any references to places online I could buy one, I would
appreciate it.
The Michelin map of Thailand is very good:
