When I first came to Thailand, I baught a book (128 pages) at a stall for 59
Baht.

It is filled with extreme beautiful pictures with accompagning text about
Bangkok by night.

Worth every dime.

One of these pictures (page 61) shows the "bodysnatchers" at work, and the
text says:

"Rama 1, 3am"
"Working only by night, volunteers for the Poh Teck Foundation pick up
unidentified corpses and attempt to determine their identities in order to
inform the next of kin. Those who take on these duties earn great respect
due to the highly unsavory aspect of such charity work"
