The United Way could take lessens in efficiency from these folks.
Just 32% overhead? Goodness, many major charitable organizations
return far less than 6*5 on the dollar and most get to do creative
accounting that counts contributions multiple times and doesn't
consider fund-raising costs as "overhead". Considering the extent of
the mobilization, 68% of funds going to actual victims is stunningly
good and a far sight better than many, many ongoing charitable
organizations can accomplish.
