The Americans started this "war on terrorism" with the moral advantage,
at least in the eyes of most people. 911 cast barbarians on one side
and civilised people on the other.
But now, the un-called for war in Iraq and the torture issue is eroding
what was once the morally suprior position of the USA. I wonder if the
so-called results are worth the loss of support in world opinion.
Probably not.
