If the government really want to restrict the number of visa-free
entries a person is allowed to make, or limit the number of days spent
in the country over a particular period of time then it would be so
simple to pass laws to formalise that.
What is plain stupid is hassling people for doing something which is
actually within the law, or threatening to arrest them for some
unspecified offence.
This issue has been rumbling on for years now. Its about time the
government made up their minds what they really want so that everybody
is clear about what they can and cannot do as far as staying in
Thailand is concerned.
