Bombs in Narathiwat
Many of the new politicians seem to have forgotten the past.
Not too long ago travel to the south was dangerous, with leftist rebels
attacking trains.
Now we are heading back to the old days with bombs blowing up and people
getting shot, now we call them terrorists. We need to follow the smart
example the U.S. sets for us. Force any ethnic group into submission, and
you will have the same scenario.
Call them Maoists or Terrorists for that matter, it matters little.
The only way is to treat your citizens fair, let them share the wealth
you squander, and don't force any doctrin on them they don't accept.
Smart ass politicians who will hide at the first sign of gunfire are the
bunch of thieves one should get rid of.
Dispair, poverty, hopelessness will drive many people to become terrorists.
People never learn, don't they.
Pathetic is the world we live in.
