My wife has just met a 31 yr. old Thai woman on a neighbouring island here
in Canada. She has a 11 month old daughter as well as a 9 year old son and
has been married for the last ten years. She seems quite happy even though
her Farrang husband just turned 78.

My Thai relatives are a big family, farmers, loggers, hunters...anything
from the land. They have never asked us for money, except a few times to
borrow and then pay back. That is not totally true, the old grandmother had
asked me for glasses and died before I bought them for her. The old Mom has
also recently asked me to get her glasses....I better be quicker this time.
Having a 'White guy' in this particular family didn't mean that much to
them. The old Dad did say to me once that he was happy that his daughter had
found a White guy so that he didn't have to worry as much as for the other 5
daughters .

I know it is not easy, but when you are looking for a good woman you have to
take as much care as you would when you're looking for a good used pick up
truck. A fresh coat of paint often just covers up a lot of rust spots.

Another tip in choosing a wife is to see how she carries herself, you don't
want a young woman who shuffles along, but has a nice steady gait and make
sure her teeth are good ! If the jury is still not in...go have a look at
the old Mom, that should sober up most love besotted fools.
Have a look at her teeth while you are at it........if the old Mom checks
out, maybe you do have a keeper on your hands.

My wife's old Mom is 80 yrs. and still has mostly black waist length hair
......I'm not too sure about the teeth though, but then I am far from
starting out.
