i have posted some two years ago about the difficulty of juistiying to the
newsgroups board (whoever they are ) the convertion of a std newsgroups to
a moderated one. k tim has different opinion. he could have some inside
info about the newsgroup machination. It will be the day when a new
moderated group is formed !

skipping posts is an ART ;-)
dont delete
because you may find the skipped person's point of view is right and can
have the opportunity to recourse to them.
deleting them lose you the gems so to speak, unless you have bags of money
to write to the original isp for the backissues

>Any idea why the OLD OLD SCTers are "lurking" and not "responding"?
simple,
they were the original scters, cant let the old habit die offf.
they read the junks or skim through
had some good laughs at some more junks
some get old, find the language used too modern for them
some dont like putting new wines into old goaty bags.
they do feel for the downgrading of standards of sct
but that is life
compare the old bbc news to today's
the reading is atocious
the idiom is idiotic
the subtelety and humour is no more there but replaced by tortortured
pronunciations.
we all agreed that times have changed, so have ALL the newsgroups.
so we are not the only "bad" guys.
>About what exactly are you laughing?
>Laughing at the sewer-situation of SCT?
>Or laughing at the attempts of some here to obtain a decent on topic forum
they feel for the good guys trying to steer the ship back but is a
herculean task given the politico social sitituations are now different.
>to discuss about a country they love?
yes
>Or laughing as the old guys who retired and see the Company staff struggling
>to keep it afloat?
yes and no
some just flow with the tides
some just stand around the sea of condoms of junks.
>In all 3 cases, allow me to be a bit sarcastic at you, old guys. You lost
>the flame, the will, something like that. Well, let them enjoy their

yes, you are right,
you are young, healthy hearty and adventourous
the old guys cant take your type of strains. ;-)
some take up viking sailing !!!!!!!!!!!

moderation alludes to a modicum of censorship
do you want to go back to the spannish inquisition?
of burn the printing press?
