There are huge abundance of rare earth element all over Indonesia  and
with the right geotech equipment, it is not hard to locate them.

If Indonesian can farm sulfur from volcano from their back, digging up
rare earth element should be a walk in the park.

As usual, they just lack the equipment, training and technology.

Alamak! The Indons don't even let Singapore "mine" cheap sand, which
are everywhere, so not likely they'll allow us to mine rare earths.
