Do the two casinos generate wealth?
your definition of wealth?
$1K, $10K, $100K, $1M, $10M, $100M, $1B, $10B, ...
Do they have appropriate trickle down effects for locals?
your definition of locals? (anyone with Pink I/C, PR, etc)
your definition of appropriate trickle down effects?
Food, Hotel, Transport, Other Services, & Employment, etc
In the short run, the novelty factor will carry it for a while.
In the long run, when other countries are also offering the same
things,
there will be little differentiation.
Our earlier leaders are right. The younger ones are just groping
around, trying their luck, looking for quick gains, sometimes at the
risk of substantial losses.
