Teargas was fired at protestors planning to march towards the Perak
Sultan's palace.

Teargas was also fired at those who took shelter at a nearby mosque.

In retaliation, protestors threw stones at the police and at VIP
vehicles seen entering the palace, including cars with royalty number
plates.

State PAS leaders have just arrived to calm down the protestors.

So far, 8 people have been arrested by the police....
