If the pap government is serious about encouraging more
people to take public transport, they should make it as
cheap and as affordable as possible.

To people who drive and changed to public transport, it is definitely
cheap.
Right now, the companies providing public transports have
to Road Tax, ERP, GST. For ecample last year SBS
Transit paid $2.9 million in ERP, $5.8 million in road taxes
and $37 million in GST. So the pap government collected
$45.7 million in taxes and charges from SBS Transit.
It is fair, SBS Transit should pay like any other public, private and
listed compaies.
