No recousre indeed. No compensation for land acquired
for roads. In Australia all acquisition even for roads and
are paid at the fair market price. This is another example of
the ridiculous law of LKY. The government collected
$billions in vehicle related taxes, so there is not justification
for not compensating land acquired for road. This is
against Natural Justice.
In a more bizzare case years ago involving a piece of land
owned by OCBC along Ford Road. In this case the land
was acquired without compensation for road. Then they
found that they have taken more than they needed and guess
what ? The extra land was sold back to OCBC at market '
price. This is how ridiculous the law in Singapore is. Lee
Kuan Yew's law is to rob the people to make his government
rich. This runs thru most of his pap government policies.
Like the decision to pay cpf bal at 1% while using them to
invest all over the world to earn over 8%.

Seems like there is n recourse in Sinkapore. They make the rules that
is best convenience for them.....
That is Sinkapore. That is why young people are thinking about leaving
Sinkapore for good.
