What I am surprised is WKS's rise in politics to the position of Deputy
Prime Minister. Let me explain.
Wong Kan Seng was working in the Ministry of Defence when
Dr. Goh Keng Swee was the Defence Minister and Goh Chok Tong
was the Minister of State for Defence. Dr. Goh's assessment of
Wong Kan Seng's maximium potential is that of Deputy Permanent
Secretary. Out of sheer frustration Wong Kan Seng resigned from
the Administrative Service and went to do his Masters on his own
account. He came back and worked for HP. Goh Chok Tong pulled
him into politics. He resigned as HR manager at HP and entered
politics on pap ticket. Then he was a Goh's loyalist.
After LHL took Ho Ching as his second wife, not long after the death
of his first, Wong Kan Seng switched loyal and became a LeeRoyalist.
The reason is simple. Wong Kan Seng is a cousin of Ho Ching. So
Wong Kan Seng now is part of the famiLEE. So when LHL promoted
WKS to Deptuty Prime Minister those who knows him well but is
not aware of his family connection was shocked. This man, accessed as
maximum potential Deputy Permanent Secretary by the wise and proven
judgement of Dr. Goh Keng Swee, is now  pap Deputy Prime Minister.
This man cannot even pronouce and speak properly and with such a
poisonlity now stands ready to take over as PM should anything happens
to LHL. Something is just not right. This man is operating way beyond
his level of competence. So this is what meritocray is all about in
Singapore.
So it is not surprising that LHL defended and kept WKS despite the
overwhelming pressure to sack him. LHL has now exposed himself to great
risk.
In the FreeWest, such information about WKS relationship with LHL
would have been reported and highlighted. Not so with the Singapore
controlled media. To me it is a big joke for the Shitty Times to criticise
the
bloggers. They have got little credibility. They now have lost that. They
have NO credibility anymore. They are no more than a mouth piece of
Lee Kuan Yew. Lee Kuan Yew is operating behind the scene, directing
the editiors on what to write, how to write it, in what formate to print it
etc etc. The editors are no more than Lee Kuan Yew's slaves. What they
wrote are just a reflection of what Lee Kuan Yew wanted them to do.
That is why what they wrote are so out of touch with the reality on the
ground. After 50 years in absolute power, Lee Kuan Yew is completely
out of touch with reality in Singapore.
