This is not a good comparison in that Taiwaneses can say about their
own country and leaders as it was they who elected them in a
democratically elected way. However it should not be from foreign
countries who in turn do not want other countries to interfere their
own. Singapore does not want foreigners in Singapore to participate
even in the singing of "complaint" songs in Singapore. Surely it not
nice to interfere other country or calling them as stupid. If you dont

Yes, there is no way to stop peope in other countries to comment about
Singapore. But there had been numerous occasions where the foreign
ministry of the foreign countries rebuked us for interference at them.
In any case, the use of th e word "Stupid" is not appropriate at all.
In my early days of primary school, a school english teacher told its
pupils that no one is stupid. If indeed the pupil is stupid, the pupil
would not be able to understand lessons in class at all. So he said to
the pupils that no one should not use the word "stupid" on anyone at
all because the word is degrading to a person.
