This is the way to keep our heavily subsidised rental flats for those who
are really in financial hardship and who have no alternative in housing
options.

In some appeal to HDB for a rental flat, the children offered to hire a
maid to stay in the rental flat to look after their parents, who are in ill
health. These Singaporean families should not think of subsidised rental
flats as a cheap place to dump their elderly parents. This is an abuse of
Government subsidies meant for the needy, and a misguided approach towards
fulfilling their responsibilities towards their parents.

When face with a shortage problem, they act to curb the
demand.
These pap multi$million nincompoops are always out to
punish the deprived Singaporeans.
With US$500 BILLION stashed away, they can very
easily take out a little to build mor flats to accomodate the
increase demand.
Do u still want to vote a government that will penalise u
to solve their problems.
An enlighten government will be one who will increase the
supply to meet the increase demands. If u argue that land is
scare in Singapore, then why keep on bringing in more
foreigners. After all these are native Singaporeans who
need helps and if the cannot afford to own their house
why can't they rent it from the government. If they sell their
house, it is simply because they just cannot afford to be
a home owner.
