Indian Prime Minister of Singapore

The way is paved for Tharman to be the first Indian PM of Singapore.
He has taken over from PM as the Finance Minister. It is reported in
the TODAY newspaper that he is being groomed for even higher office.
What office is higher than that of a Minister if not the Prime
Minister's. As also pointed out by TODAY months ago, the portfolios he
had held so far were also those held by previous PMs before they too
became one. Based on this, the Indian would cry foul against racism,
if Tharman were not finally made the PM.
SR Nathan would still be the President then. If he wishes to continue,
no one can stop him, just like before. Singapore would end up with an
Indian President and Indian Prime Minister. On top of this, there is
the presence of the Indian Navy to reckon with. Goodbye, Chinese and
Malay, you will all be grouped under a new caste lower than that of
the lowest reserved for Indian.
