Exactly, the donations collected from the man in the streets
and from TV shows....are used for those charity purposes shown
on the video clips. (daily operational use)

For the big ticket items, in millions, the money were drawn
from fund donated by billionaire philanthropists. (for big ticket
projects or purchases)

I don't think I recall any clip telling us about those
shops ...

Since small donors money are used only for those
purposes show on video clips...there is absolutely no
need to advertise money to start religious business.
It is like using the money to feed monks and nuns
and to buy incense and offerings...there is no need
to advertise such things.

................... We normal
folks however want to know where our buck is going.

You have been told....that is you money is going to
the charities shown on the video clips.

How do we veto without good info?

Repeat, you have no veto rights on money in reserved,
donated by billionaires.
You could stop your donation if you object to your money
being used in those charity activities shown in the video
clips.

You are a little muddle-minded...confusing your big donation
with those reserved fund donated by billionaires.

May be you are a billionaire...or you think you are a
generous billionaire.....then be truly generous...write
out a cheque for a couple of millions...and you could
enjoy the privilege of being consulted before your money
is used on big ticket items...and also enjoy the right
of veto that come with donations in millions.

The March 2007 show alone raised 7.2 million. That accounts for close
to 25% of the year's total receipts. Yes, thats the show that is
showing all those charity events, nothing on the shops. And thats not
counting the regular donations collected throughout the year. All
counted in, I believe donations from "non-billionaires" will easily
surpass the 50% mark. Yes, I believe we have a right to know what is
going on.

If you're saying we do not have veto rights over this, thats only if
Ren Ci itself keeps the accounts separate between the donations. Which
is the purpose of this audit, to draw a VERY clear line on what the
money is supposed and not supposed to be used for.

Plus if you take into account Ren Ci's history itself, it started as,
and its core purpose continues to be that of a hostipal. Go ahead to
their website. Help me find where their stated, publicised role says
otherwise. Because that's probably where most donors expect their
money to go towards.

When you're over at their site, go to their "finance" section
http://www.renci.org.sg/financials_statement.asp and why don't you
tell me where these loans go under?

Its simple. We donate the money expecting it to be used for a purpose.
Its understand we want to know what is going on. Because right now,
almost everyone doesn't.
