Ren Ci is registered as a charitable organization. And being
registered allows them certain benefits such as carrying out fund-
raising events and tax exemptions. It also carries with it the
responsibilities of being transparent and accountable to the people
who are donating the money.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that most of the people
donating to Ren Ci are doing so with the belief that the monies will
go towards benefiting people in the most efficient manner monetary-
wise, and they deserve to know what's going on with their money and
what the organization is doing to ensure maximum out-put for their
donated dollar. If they are making such loans, the donors have a
right to know as well. If these practices are acceptable to them,
life goes on as normal. If it's not they have the option of donating
elsewhere. But the donors HAVE to know.

Oh and FYI, I'm a donor. And I believe that there are many more donors
like me who want to know what is going on. And untidy records or
bookkeeping is not just a mistake but really bad practice for an
organization handling such large sums of money if they intent to
operate in the long run.If such "mistakes" are not identified, what's
there to prevent it from escalating, with no one to keep this in
check?
