The locatiion of the floating platform is on the side of the marina
bay basin. It is postioned nearest to proposed DNA spiral foot bridge
at the narrowest part of the marina bay's sea channel that passes
under the shear bridge into the basin and from the sea.
The grand stand is to be built on the ground on the edge of the bay
facing the floating platform. It is assumed that the floating
plaftform is for musical performance like sydney opera house.
But it seems to duplicate what the protruding stand of a "lotus palm"
design of the Sand casino which is also possible for musical activites
too.
The floating platform that is being built faces the "lotus palm" of
Sand casino shows that location of the floating platform was done for
the casin and not for the Explanade at public expenses.
Back to this feng shui problem that needs to be addressed by the Govt.
It is about the flow of sea water into and out of the marina basin is
the problem.
Our prosperity in the last 40 years has been due to the source of lfow
- a good flow of sea water that flows in and out from the sea.
The sea water in front of collyer quay is now encased into the
reservoir turning seawater to fresh water basin - and is now called as
marina bay basin. The sea water at the now marina basin further flows
into the singapore river and its small tributaries and carnals -
right to alexandra road, etc..
At present, the flow of sea water leading from the sea enters the
barrage barrier that is being built. It then further flowing into the
basin passess the narrowest channel where the floating platform is
being built next to it.
The key feng shui problem here is that the floating platform will
obstruct the flow of water into the marina bay basin.
The postion of the floating platform aat the narrowest channel in the
basin seems to show that it wll obstruct small boats, yachtings and
small seacraft. Even our beautiful state-of-the-Art stealth warships,
Covettes, Landing ships, high-tech police patrol boats moving inside
the basin will have a problem with maneuvering at the narrow channel
if sea parade of our warships is to be held in the bay on national
day..
In other word, the rectangular floating platform that takes up a
substantial piece of sea space at the narrow point of the sea channel
under the shear bridge will obstruct not only a wealth of sea flows
into the marina bay basin but also a obstructions to sea farer
traffic.
If a speed boat racing is held there, or a sea regatta is held there
in the basin, the "marching in" at the sea channel at the shear bridge
will be "lopsided". It will be "one lane" is lcoased all the time.
Aneathehically speaking, the positoning of the floating platform there
is an "eyesore". This is because its jutting out into the narrow
channel blocks not only the the natural seaflow of sea water into and
out of the marina basin but it also cause marine fishes and animals to
find to "escape" from "knocking at the floating platform.
It is like a blood artery being constricted at the narrowest point and
thus cuased a seizure and stroke to occur. Likewise the floating
platform sitting at the narrow strait of marina bay will block the sea
wealth from flowing in from the the mouth of the sea at the sea
entrance to marina bay.
Ideally, the floating platform and the grand stand should be relocated
to the bay outside of the Durian - Explanade, so that it faces the
shear bridge's channel that enters the entrance into the marina bay.
It means it should be near to the end of the fullerton bridge on the
Explanade theatre side.
This way the assumed musical acitvities on this floating platform and
on the grand stand on the ground outside of the Explanade theatres
will complement well with the Explanade theatres acitivites, too.
Another way is to relocate the floating platform to the area where
palm trees are located - the location between the existing location
of the floating platform (which called as "floating stadium") and the
exisitng Durian( the Explanade theatres) .
Also a rectangular floating platform is bad feng shui, too.
The sharp edge is blocking the flow of the seawater coming into the
marina basin and going out of the marina bay basin. It hsould be
rounded lie a semi-circle.
A hexagonal or octagonal shape floating platform is better than a
sharp square and rectangular shape. A semi-curved circle shape is
better than a square edge plaform especially in water in which
undercurrent keeps "cutting" into the edge of the
platform.

A floating platform is like a person threading his legs in water will
be exhausted and drained energy in time to come. It also means this
country is not standing on firm ground - uncertain, unsure, etc..
Bad positoning is even worse. As the floating platform is located at
the venturi of the narrow part of the sea channel, the under-current
at venturi point of the naroow channel is very high. It will cause the
platform to bob up and down.
The bobbing up and down at the high under-current at the venturi point
means that sayingto the country is likened to be shaking and sinking
up and down like a floating platform.
I trust they will change the location of the floating plaform before
bad feng shui hit singapore on a permanent basis.
Simple soultion: Tie a mirror to deflect the bad feng shui to
Indonesia Batam island and let them have them instead? Now you owe me
$2,888,888 in feng sui consultancy fee
