China have different races. languages and
religions too...
They have the Han, Zhuang, Uygur, Hui, Yi,
Tibetan, Miao....
There are hundreds of languages spoken in

The Chinese practise all the major religions
including Judaism.

In short, Chinese has more races, more languages,
more religions than Singapore. If China can
have its own culture....why not Singapore.


Take the USA.
In the USA, there are white Europeans, Blacks
from Africa, Asians (Indian, Chinese, Japanese,
Korean, Filipinos), Arabs, Russians, Hispanics
from Mexico and Latin American, Jews, Red
Indians, natives of Alaska, Pacific Islanders, and
Hawaiians......
The American speaks English, Asian languages,
Spanish, Mexicans, French and other European
languages......

The American has more races and languages
than Singapore. This did not prevent the
American from having its own culture. Why
not Singapore ?

I see.... a Singapore culture is slowly being
evolved...our Singlish, our Kiasu ways,
our food, our heartland way of life, our
submissive nature (always law abiding),..
our institutions, our songs, our local literature,...

Many Singaporean are ashamed of our infant
culture...with ugly Kiasu ways and broken English..
They deny that we have our own culture.

Is LKY right ...to say Singaporean have no culture
of our own and will not have one in a hundred years ?
