ARGENTINA LOST BECUASE OF BOO BOO BY MANAGER.

Argentina could have won their match against Germany if the manager had not
made a boo boo over his substitutes - taking out Riquelme and putting in a
more defensive player and also putting in Cruz instead of Messi.

Taking out Riquelme means they were intending to be wholly defensive which
meant Germany could launch attacks without worrying about counterattacks
etc.

Without Riquelme and Messi in attack they were almost toothless.Cruz was a
lost cause in attack producing no runs of any threat and in fact looke
woedully out of touch and unfit.
