They have been duping the public for too long now the public could not care
less what they say so they get themselves confused as to what is the truth.

Lim Boon Heng said recently that the umemployment situation is worse
than what the official statistics claim, and gave example of the
retrenched worker who would rather be "retired" than admit his dismal
failure to secure alternate employment. In other words, there's
bullshit in the Manpower Minister's claim for success (and personal
performance bonus).
Today Lim Swee Say is coming to the counter attack, saying that
employment HAS improved.
Hmm, two PAP guys fighting it out in public. What does this say of Lee
Hsien Loong's (lack of) leadership qualities?
