After about 9 days, I went to the shop and demanded a refund or a one

one exchange" for the set. They refused to exchange it saying that it is
more than 1 week. they agreed to repair it. I then handed over to them for
repair.

I did not realise that it took them more than 5 months to get it
repaired. they said that it was sent back to the factory in China and
needed
to be thorougly checked and serviced. when I kept asking for the set, they
told me to wait and they would contact me once it is ready.

On 20/3/2006, I managed to get my set back. After I used it for 3
days,
I found out that it cannot power on. the set could not be used at all. It
was "dead". On 23/3/2006 I brought it back to the shop for repair again.
Until today I did not receive the set set at all. this is the 2nd time the
set is sent for repair.

I wish to say that since I bought the set or product more than 7
months
ago, I hardly used it. I used it for less than 3 times only. the warranty
period is also expiring soon. I paid $300 cash for a defective product
that
is always in the shop for repairs. when I asked for compensation, they
agreed to take in at only $50 and also I MUST trade in for another product
with some more cash top up or they would not take in this defective
product.

I am most grateful if this unfair trade or transaction against me is
compensated and addressed in a court of law. "" UnQuote


P/S: They still operating a small counter next to "Active Foto"on #4th
floor
of Sim Lim Sq near the escalator. The above statement of facts was
tendered
in The small claims Court. Hence it is now public document. The court has
ordered that the full amt be refunded plus costs. Just pay SG$10 to haul
any
unscrupulous retailers such as the above to a court of law to seek
redress!
