To me Singapore's icon is the way they sue the
opposition to bankruptcy.

Another Singapore's icon is the ministers are paid

Not only do they not have a world class opposition, they also do not
have any world class people or icons here (except for a dead merlion).
Look at Korea, Malaysia, Hong KOng Taiwan - they have Michelle Yeoh,
Siti Nurya, Jimmy Choo, Li Ka Shing and Jackie Chan, Mr. Shih of Acer,
the film and sports icons of Korea, etc. despite the fact that they
lack LKY's "World Class" Govt.
