A better life for all....

This promise of PM lee covers the front page,
and it fills many pages of the Straits Times today.

This election slogan reminded me of a similar
one by GCT not so long ago..... "More good years ".
What followed was ...Singaporeans suffered many,
many BAD years....relocation of factories, .....
unemployment of old and less educated...rising costs....
loss of permanent long term jobs, ...

Is PM Lee's promise ...'A better life for all' to be
like "More good years' ... Just a promise to get
votes!

To find the answers, I read the his vision, strategies,
goals...very carefully.
I found pages of motherhood statements....such
as ....create job for all ..maintain a harmonious
multi-racial society....create opportunities....give the
young the best start....help the poor......an endless
list of statements of intent.

I found absolutely NO action plans and NO concrete
idea on how PM Lee is going to give us all... a better
life.

It remind me of an old mandarin scholars who
promised peace and prosperity to all the peasants
in the face of war and suffering.
In fine words and Chinese classical language,
he promised "Peace and Prosperity"...but he did
not have plans for action ...China was lost to
barbarian from the North.

What does PM Lee means...by 'a better life for all' !
How will he translate this motherhood statement
into actions...to control rising costs,... to change
short term contract jobs into long term employment....
to improve bus services....(to name a few issues
that made life very tough for Singaporean)...

Do you know !!

Bad boy.
