All the tables at hawker centres have only one leg.

Technically, 3-legged system is most stable, especially on an uneven
surface.

For example, the tripod for telescope and camera.

It is therefore a wonder that human beings with only a 2-legged system
can do so much - balance, run, jump, hop, skip and it is still so
stable.

So this really puts the 4-legged stability theory to shame.

:)

I think your theory doesn't hold. Try to be a political "sarka" (3-legged support) to the
ruling
party, and you may find yourself some way up the ladder.

Yes, his theory no good......even 4 legged chair with a little
imagination can be made into a 3 legged chair, and it will become
stable.....there are also 3 legged stools....even the trishaws
use 3 wheels.....LOL

Remove a leg of a four legged chair and we would have an unstable
chair.

Thus, a firm foundation is required to sit comfortably.

Likewise, fundamental concepts are like the four legs of a chair.

Without them, our ideas cannot carry weight.
