You mean ONCE, now no more.

Which Opposition party has the best website design? I visited 5 sites and did a study.

1) The Workers Party (http://www.wp.org.sg/)

Comments - The light blue colour does'nt really look nice. They should change to army green. The photo essay layout could have been better. The updates are well, up to date. The website could be improved with more interactive features. The news articles are just words. Should add pictures to make reading more enjoyable. Overall the site is a bit ugly.

2) The Singapore Democratic Party (http://www.singaporedemocrat.org/)

Comments - The front page was spread too big. Not that impressive. Lack of good quality photos. Or rather no good quality photos. The news articles just contain words. No pictures. Includes some sort of podcast which they called "radio" but why no transcript? Overall design - boring.

3) National Solidarity Party (http://nsp-singapore.org/)
Comments - Clean white design. First page no picture all words? Too plain. No interaction with users. Overall design - the website tries to look professional but ended up looking lousy.

4) Singapore People's Party (http://www.spp.org.sg/)
Comments - Very colourful. But the images seem to lose its resolution. The guy who designed it probably did not know how to use photoshop properly, just like the old new paper website. Updates are current. Good amount of pictures. Overall - content is there but website looks amateurish.

5) Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Singapura [PKMS] (http://www.geocities.com/pkms218/)
Comments - No money to buy own domain isssit? Again photos edited like the old new paper website, either too fat or too skinny. They do have rich content but mostly in malay. Overall - very messy design.

So if these opposition political party wants to get the young voters votes, they have to get their website in order. Some primary school students can design far better websites than the ones above. Take a look at a recent web design competition for kids to understand what I mean. http://itclub.vs.moe.edu.sg/competition05/announcements.html .
