Just scrap it and get back your money. If not enough to pay back to your finance company, you have to cough out the balance.
With such low COE nowadays, all previous car owners simply got stucked with their existing cars...........this is where, you see an artificially arranged policy that goes against the 'Laws Of Nature' had caused alot of misery to most Sg motorists.
By 2007, there won't be anymore COE. More ERP will be installed and charges are much higher.
By then, motorist would again suffered a much bigger losses from those highly paid COE cars..................In the first place by introducing COE policy is about 'car owner no longer owned their car, like before'... Since, the first day where, COE came into effect, all pre-owned (by sgian) were indirectly, transfered to our smart alec gov', as their properties.... Hey, we are talking about 490 million collected from sg car owners on their COE papers, for those who want their cars to be back on the road.
Looobert...are you saying that by 2007, sg motorist (this time, not as car owner, as 10 yrs leased car holder from LTA) again, will be taken as suckers one more time....especially, those car with high COE...... cause, by then, car prices dropped like shits.......
The beauty of LTA is to treat all sg motorist as school kids......................see today ST..........continrntal diesel car with high Euro Standard, to register here, LTA came with a proposal, especially, on its rd tax, making sure you motorist don't benefit at all........ You motorist buggers thinking that, by having a diesel car, you could save on fuel, over the long run.......no way 'man........ afterall, you motorist buggers are just a bunch of school kids.....easy to handle what? every motorist are damn kiasu what?......LOL.....LOL.............
Those who want to own cars in Singapore are subject to all changes and suffer losses as and when LTA decided to change it policy. The COE policy is not working anymore, COE has not been going higher, instead it has been coming downward. People are changing their cars when car reaches 5 years, it's a waste of money.
