Mathematics and dimensional correctness, i.e. accuracy

Logic and reasoning belongs to philosophy.
Mathematics and dimensional accuracy are required in engineering
solutions and machinery.
A failure to recognise the need for accuracy, indeed, too many skewed
and illogical sketches, turns mathematics away from accuracy into
becoming philosophy instead.
Whilst it is true that mathematicians are also human, the subject
itself should not become a philosophy. It is just mathematics. A tool,
just as a computer program is a coding.
We do not want our bank statements of the future to be inaccurate, nor
do we want our mortgages to be 'extended' another ten years, or the
billions that Singapore has to be an eight letter word only.
Numerical accuracy is required for what it's worth, to prevent theft of
our national assets.
We hope our Mathematics teaching policy will be revamped to put the
accuracy back into the questions being taught to our students.
