A casual source informed me today that at our institutions of higher
learning, quite a number of foreigners are doing their Masters and Phds.

is paying for their studies as well as living expenses. But our local boys
are girls are not given this opportunity.  I am just wondering if there is
any truth in this information.

I am aware that there are a lot of Indian and China nationals at NTU and
have wondered how they could afford to study here. If our SG is sponsoring
their studies will they be conscripted later if they apply for PR, which
