Nathan grins because he looks back at his hard life and simple beginnings
and now he sees his bank account bursting at the seams
even more than he can count and laughs at what might have been.

The problem raised is one of qualification and Singaporeans must be
objective by asking for the qualifications to be democratic and reflect the
intelligence of Singaporeans - they should allow all Singapore born
citizens their birthright to stand for the highest office in the land as did
the US which allowed someone of the stature of Lincoln and Carter to be
Presidents .

The govt is molly coddling Singaporeans on the major aspects of their
governance so how can they expect Singaporeans to be independent when
venturing out to the world at large and stand on their own?
