We're beset by a large population of non-migratory Canadian Crap

You got that right. Our crop was born here and they "migrate" between
retention basins and cornfields...the only way they'd make it to Canada
is by train (freight, rather than Amtrak.)
We can't even ship them out. We're a wildlife sanctuary.....can't
shoot 'em, can't run them over, can't beat them with golf clubs. I
detest them.
Around here there's a thriving Border Collie industry to harass geese on
golf courses and such. The dogs don't try to injure the geese but
they're such control freaks that the geese end up leaving.


It's a nice thought, but I'm pretty sure harrassing wildlife in the
sanctuary is a big no no.

Around here it's golf courses and industrial parks, no such restrictions. You're not allowed to kill them though, no matter how tasty they are.
