I stand to be corrected but, AFAIK, there are *NO*
pillar boxes in Scotland which carry the 'EIIR' logo.
They instead carry the Crown of Scotland image.

I believe there _was_ at least one which did - but it came

Thanks Shiela, that led me to a very entertaining hour of research
and the uncovering of some 'useless facts' (my specialist subject !)

'One particular pillar box in Edinburgh's Inch district was
repeatedly vandalised with tar, paint and a hammer before
being blown to pieces less than three months after its unveiling'

I've got an MP3 somewhere which goes something like:-

"Noo, Scotland hisnae got a King,
nor his she got a Queen.
For how can ye hae a Second Liz
When the first wan hisnae been?"

It was a comical Republican folk-type song written to the tune of The Sash. Still reasonably well known by some of us not so youngies :-)

The only version I could find on you-tube is from an irishman.
