I guess I must be exceptional yet again, then. I started out with a
major in Chemistry. I finished with, among other things, a degree in
Mathematics (but no Chemistry degree, although I took enough Physics
so that I could probably have qualified for a Physics minor in a lot
of places).
Where I did my undergrad work (and we are talking under-
grad since "majors" keep getting tossed about), a mathe-
matics major tended to culminate in a B.Sc, so to my way
of thinking mathematics is a science. Did you get a B.Math
instead? (I thought that was an Ozzie degree...)
