Well hello boys - if we turn into Mars there's not going
to be many jobs anyway.
A major hallmark of Conservatism is its reach for the
Short-Term Gain regardless of the Long-Term Loss.
We see it in Ecological Policy, Military Policy, and
Economic Policy, decade after decade and century
after century. They _never_ Learn - and that's yet
*another* hallmark of Conservatism...

The grandkiddies will take care of [read: Pay For] the problems.
The grandkiddies and even their grandkiddies will already be
paying for the problems.
It's not too big a stretch to describe it as a giant ponzi scheme with the
new entrants paying for the expenses of the original members. Madoff was a
beginner...
That's not to say that we shouldn't have a safety net for the indigent,
but
the overfed, irresponsible waddlies, Bah!
all those working poor, long term sick, disabled and what have you?
You post here that, "The Government", pays for medicaid and medicare and
that means YOU pay for YOUR private care insurance directly out of your
income and YOU pay for the government's payments to the poor folks care from
the tax the government takes from your tax payments. If they don't pass
Obama's scheme then the most likely outcome will be that the Government puts
up taxes to improve the care of the poor the government was voted in to
improve. It was part of his manifesto after all. Then, of course YOU are
filling the pockets of the shareholders of the private company insurance
schemes. It ain't the government paying those things it's YOU,(and your
like).
