Yeah - I'm not really complaining - I'm fair game after all.
Just making an observation.

May I point out you are posting into an Irish newsgroup?
So I would say, yes, you are fair game.....

Actually *they* (or 'someone') crossposted this into scs as I've already
pointed out.
As you know I almost always trim the headers (if I happen to spot them
that is) but this time I left them as it was obvious some of the posters
were replying from the other groups.
I don't know about your newsreader but with this old thing there is no
way of telling which group the individual crossposts are coming from or I
Would trim the headers.

[headers trimmed for this reply]

Well Adam, as it happens, "That Old Thing", you use is far more
sophisticated than you know. For example I know you are using, "Microsoft
Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5843", and I know lots more.

This is what you do, On Outlooks main page, right click on the message
header. Now, right down at the bottom of the drop-down menu, click
on, "Properties", and a brief set of data drops down. Now click on,
"Details", and all will be revealed.
Good innit?

Yeah - I use that myself occasionally to check on nym-shifters but I didn't
realise it idenified the specific group the respondee was posting from among
a bunch of headers.
I'll check that out in future.
cheers.
