a woman," I'd have had no objection.

"Disguise" = Means To Save One's Life
"In Drag" = Done For Personal Enjoyment

There's a huge difference; put _yourself_ into
the place of the people being referenced - no,
better still, put your Son, Brother, Father, or
Husband into their place: if the only way you
could save the life of a male loved-one from
persons bent on killing him was to dress him
as a female and smuggle him through their
lines, would he be "dressing in drag" in your
view? Is that how you would speak of it?
