He doesn't HAVE to be an 'expert' - its just another of those things
that
comes under the heading: 'The Bleeding Obvious'.
Here is something else that is bleedingly obvious. If we all returned
to organic farming, millions upon millions would starve.
Millions upon millions more would die from wars and riots to seize
food. There is, after all, not enough cow s*** on the planet to
fertilize all the
crops needed.
We definitely need more cows, more manure, more methane, more global
warming, more sea level rise, Manhattan flooded, more people die. Yea!
You of course are right.
Cow farts contribute heavily to global warming. (And I've really, really
read this somewhere)
Not that old global warming chestnut. Don't you know they now call it
"climate change"? This is to cope with the astounding possibility of
cooling as well as warming.
Coming soon, "global cooling". Through hugely expensive (but completely
inaccurate) computer modelling, politically motivated scientists have
determined that global cooling is caused by too many people exercising
their right to free speech, or having the bare-faced audacity to spend
their own money as they see fit.
Dear oh dear. I didn't have you down as a oil biz shill
So the Arctic ice-cap disapearing is all a conspiracy I presume?
'Climate Change' is technically more correct as one of the paradox's
(paradi?) is that higher overall global temperatures could cause the
'Greenland Pump' to close down thereby initiating a new ice-age in the far
northern hemisphere. But I'm sure you know that really - smart chap like
you.
There is simply no longer any argument that the climate is changing. You
don't have to be a climatologist to see that. Just open your eyes.
I think that, until recently, there might have been some argument as to
whether or not human atmospheric pollution on a gargantuan scale occurring
at the same time as unprecedented climate change and mass extinctions might
just be merely an incredible coincidence. But not any more.
If you want proof just check out just exactly whom is claiming same. In
almost every case it's the same people who think the world is 6,000 years
old, that GM will return to profit manufacturing 8 litre 4X4 SUV's, that
everyone should own a private arsenal, high petrol prices are a communist
conspiracy and that Saddam Hussein had WMD. Not to mention that almost all
of them are semi-literate, profoundly ignorant Bush-appeasing US rightards.
If that doesn't clinch it for you then nothing will.
