You're welcome, on Usenet there is no guarantee of delivery so I just
assumed that it didn't arrive.

I am an update junkie and ensure that all drivers, video, sound and network
are always up to date, there is a good reason that the companies spend big
bucks to refine/debug/update their drivers.

You haven't told us which video card or chip you have. A useful, compact
utility which will identify the card if you don't know, is Belarc Advisor,
although principally designed to check that you have all the M$ security
patches, it will also tell you which video manufacturer, peripherals,
motherboard etc. that you have installed. It also has buttons to retrieve
missing M$ updates directly. Recommended.
