Not sure that a book would be that helpful. Just about
everything is built
into the motherboard these days., sound card, network and
graphics card.
It really is just plug and pray :-) The box comes with a
power supply,
then a mother board, processor, ram, CD/DVD drive and a
hard drive.
The selection of components is slightly complicated by
wanting a "games"
box. When you're ready, just give us a ping.
Thanks, I will. I have done some repairing of my present
machine so I know that a LARGE case makes things easier, and
that a power supply should be at least 750W.
