Adam clings to the vain hope that America can go down the tubes without
dragging all the world's economies with them.

I'm just pointing out the more important things. Do you really think anyone
will give a shit about some tin-pot late 20th century economic empire
crashing if or when climate change becomes irreversible? Do try to see the
bigger picture sometimes.

Most of the world does *not* hinge around 4% of it's population borrowing
ever increasing amounts of money from them regardless of what you deluded
fools might believe. Most people are more concerned with finding enough food
and clean water for the day.
Within about 50 years you will be too unless we can reverse it. Which we
can't as it's too late. You seem to have no *idea* about what is about to go
down. It's not going to be a question of who can afford to buy an F150 it's
gong to be about survival. And lets face it - basic survival skills are not
really your strong point is it?

But before that happens there is a HUGE global economy that doesn't depend
on lending you money anymore. I don't know which rock you've been living
under since the 1970's but you about to find out that global economic
conditions have changed since you were at school.
The days of the US sneezing and the rest of the world catching cold are long
long gone my dear deluded ones.
Now it's more like the US sneezes and the rest of the world paints a cross
on your door and goes elsewhere to sell their wares. To places that actually
have some *real* money to spend.
You are SO out of touch with your current economic reality I almost feel
sorry for you. Almost.
