Kippers and Smokies



I am very fond of Kippers and Smokies.
Not every day, but now and again.
I am the same with Malt Whisky and Oatcakes.

Why are kippers very inexpensive,
whilst Smokies are quite the reverse.??

A tiny wee bit of Black pudding is nice.
So is a morsel of Haggis. But not more.

Potato sones are magic...especially fried.
Crispy toast is nice with Pilchards or Brisling.
