Nicely done, sir! Is the next project to get the whole
site onto the new look?

First, I'll need to find a nice template . . . correction . . .
first I need to try to understand how a CSS really works !
I've been putting it off for long enough, it's time to get my
trusty 'Instant HTML' book back out.

Then I need to find the time.
I really should do something about updating it, that's
almost ten years it's been on the go with only minor
alterations to the original format.

My apologies to whoever it was that I nicked the
intro from. I copied it at the time but didn't note
the attributions . . . if you wish to claim the credit,
I'll attribute it correctly.

Craig Cockburn (in the scs FAQ)? Nope... At least not on the page
or two that I skimmed. (Just For The Record, for those who haven't
seen it - it's at http://www.siliconglen.com/Scotland/)

It's linked from the bottom of the 'Disclaimer' panel !

No, most of the introduction (now with minor editing by me)
was posted here on scs.

Two minor corrections:
- in the headline, there's one too many periods in s.c.s. (sb s.c.s)

Aaaah, but are there ? The second 's' is an abbreviation . . .
Back in 2005 it actually read as, 'soc.culture.scottish.Informer'
I claim artistic licence . . . elsewhere there are no periods, ie scs

- in the first paragraph, should be soc.culture., not social.culture.

Thank you . . . proof readers are always appreciated.
Now corrected.

May I just point out that your headquarters building couldn't possibly
withstand a good Scottish winter gale-force storm? I mayn't? Ok then...
